Art 1st. -

Only are entitled to the controlled label of origin “Anjou Villages Brissac” supplemented or not by the words “Loire Valley”, the red wines answering the conditions fixed hereafter.

Art 2. -

The surface of production of the wines being entitled to the controlled label of origin “Anjou Villages Brissac” is delimited inside the territory of the following communes: Brissac-Quincé, Denée, the Juigné-on-Loire, Mozé-on-Louet, Walls-Erigné, Saint-Jean-of-Mauvrets, Saint-Melaine-on-Aubance, the Saint-Saturnin-on-Loire, Soulaines-on-Aubance, Vauchrétien.

Art 3. -

The basic output aimed to the article 1st of this decree is fixed at 50 hectolitres at the hectare. The output stop aimed to article 4 of this decree is fixed at 56 hectolitres at the hectare. The benefit of the controlled label of origin can be granted to the wines coming from young vines only as from the fourth year following that during which the plantation was carried out places from there before August 31, with null output the first two years. Art 8. -

To be entitled to the controlled label of origin “Anjou Villages Brissac”, the wines must be elaborate and high according to local practice's. The wines must be elaborate in their wine storehouse of wine making and cannot be bottled before September 1 year which follows harvest. They profit from all the oenological processes authorized by the laws and payments in force, except for the concentration which is prohibited.

Art 9. -

The classified wines controlled “Anjou Villages Brissac” cannot be put in circulation without a certificate issued by the national Institute of the labels of origin under the conditions envisaged by the decree of October 19, 1974 referred to above.

The wines for which, under the present decree, is asserted the controlled label of origin “Anjou Villages Brissac”, supplemented or not by the words “Loire Valley”, cannot be declared after harvest, be offered to the public, be dispatched, put on sale or sold, without, in the declaration of harvest, the advertisements, on the leaflets, labels, invoices, containers unspecified, the label of origin referred to above being registered and is accompanied by the mention “appellation contrôlée”, the whole in very apparent characters.
